Just for FYI - I do agree that there is alot of government waste but again you can't change it with the rants here. Also you can not GROUP all the government employees together. Like everything, some makes all look bad in peoples mind.
Just wondering why all the people here ranting against government and the employees have not taken a job within the government entities to work at stopping this?
I wonder if 7pesos considers themselves too smart to work for the government since they state "no intelligence required"?
You can't stand outside and complain and expect things to change. Go to work for the government and work yourself in to a position to do something about the "bad gov employees"?
Just wondering............
"I'm not sure of the legality of that but to me it sounds inappropriate based on my knowledge," Weekly said.
WHAT??!! With the HIPA laws being in effect for such a long time for him to say the above is just ridiculous. Sounds like CYA again. Just wondering/
In the article it said "GARTH AND STEVE MADE THE DECISION TO KEEP THE TICKET PRICE LOW". Same thing Garth did with his last album. It sold ONLY thru WalMart at a very very low price for what you got compared with other CD sets. It was a set not just 1 CD. Not all Wynn's decision. Just wondering..... Good for them to fight the scalpers.
So Hettrick thinks that the lawmakers did not explore all of it's options? Where was "OUR" Gov with other options other than saying 1 thing on tv and then reversing it within the next week. Easy to blame others. They may not have gotten it perfect but alot better than throwing something out and walking away. Just wondering.
Granted Lesnar dominated and won against Mir but his behaviour even before the match started, not touching gloves, shows that he needs to go back to the WWF. He says that he has wanted to be fighter since he was a little kid, I just don't see where he has grown up.No respect for others in the sport or for the sport for that matter. Grow up and get some class.....
I agree with all above. Just one question though. Why wasn't this brought forward earlier and what role did Hampton's wife play? Can't she say NO???? Money, money, money is what this is about. Just wondering.....
Gibbons vetoed so that he could continue to say No New Taxes even though he knows Nevada needs it to survive. He can now say that "I didn't do it" and use that for his 2010 reelection bid. Watching the BS and just wondering.
NevadaFive you are 100% correct. Gibons has made it clear that he plans on running again. Using people's fears against them to drum up support for himself, since his ratings are at the bottom, is totally wrong. He is not out for the people of Nevada, he is out to try anyway that he can to bring his ratings back up before the next election. I am a state employee that has no problem giving what is needed to help the state but cutting the salary of 20,000 will not fill the hole for 1.5 million that is there. ANYBODY should be able to see that. Did the Fed gov cut their salaries and use that to give the bailouts? Nope. Used taxpayer money from everyone in the US.

I wonder if the politicians in DC would be willing to give up some of their benefits to help the people that can not afford insurance. And are they going to give up their benefits when they retire and go with medicare/medicade along with all the other americans.
