Ignorance is the cancer of the world Mr. Geisler, and you've been diagnosed with it. Too bad you have no concept of what socialism is, what conservatives believe, or any historical perspective. Feel free to continue to make a fool of yourself with falsehoods, and half-truths.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that Vegas has far more registered Democrats.
I guess the first thing to point out is the Steelers are not in the NFC North.
After that, to say Lovie Smith is a bad coach is an uninformed opinion from a novice at best. He may not be the best, but he's a good coach who consistently leads a competitive team. He also isn't afraid to shake up his staff when needed, and take over the signal calling.
The Bears are also a far better team than the Super Bowl team this year. They are better at QB, WR, OL, TE, and RB ... in spite of this articles criticism of the Bears OL. It is a completely revamped line this year, and can't be compared to last years ... or the year before that when they were horrid.
The weakness may actually be the defense. Especially when it comes to the health of the secondary. If the Bears suffer ... that will be the weak link.
I hope by a 'few hundred' you mean at least 1,500 (if not more). That place was packed.

Wrong birdie ... period ... end of story.
The taxpayer has a right to receive a return from their investment, and you are more likely to get that return if a potential student shows basic aptitude. Everyone has a right to go to college, but only if they pay for it themselves.
Asking a teacher to double their work load without an increase in pay is ridiculous. As is hiring another professor when you have no revenue.
The problem is very simple ... you have increasing numbers of customers (students), but you aren't making a profit. You are faced with two choices, raise revenue (taxes, tuition) or cut costs. I'd rather they tried to cut costs by getting rid of the life courses that have no bearing on people developing marketable skills ... like tap dancing. Cut those types of classes, and see if we get closer to breaking even. Then raise tuition slightly, while keeping your costs in check.
This is basic math, and logic folks.
