Woops. The construction is south of there. My bad.

There's construction in that area; the left lane is closed off for median work.

After reading this, I noticed how dusty my office must be. *sniff*

I rescued a Golden from GRRSN and he's been a joyous, loyal and loving addition to my family. Thanks, Emthree, for putting their web address up. Please, if anyone is considering a Golden, consider adopting.

"Moist" is one of the worst words ever. Except when it's describing cake.

Well. I guess there's never been a problem a platitude couldn't fix.

Great idea, Bob. And when you're done putting every kid in a uniform, I'm sure there are some deck chairs on a sinking ship you could rearrange.

I would have attacked that memo with a red pen and asked him to send it back when he learns to write in English.

Good heavens, what a moron. And not just because he doesn't know the difference between "do" and "due."

Someone please save us from these jokers.

Regarding those crime numbers: you know what is 1.12 miles from PVHS?

Red Rock Casino.

Don't tell me that the "neighborhood casino"'s presence doesn't skew those numbers somewhat.

On another note, I'm a Summerlin mom and my son is zoned for Palo. And we're definitely a middle-class family. Spoiling and snobbishness isn't the fault of the kid -- it's the parent. If the kids feel they're above the rules, it's because the parents lead them to believe that.
