Seems that Tarkanian is starting out telling us what he feels is wrong with others.

To bad he is not telling us what is right with himself and why we should elect him.

When are the people of this city, county, state and country going to demand better from the people we are electing?

It appears you care about Donny. You took the time to read the article and comment on it.

I am betting you are also one that complains about a certain T.V. show rather then changing the channel.

Seems you are the one that needs a life if all you have to do is complain about something "you don't care about".

Most of these posts sound just like many people 20 years ago talking about Steve Wynn when he opened the Mirage. Most said he would fail. The brought in twice what he needed to operate the Mirage and paid off the junk bonds early. Employed 1000's of people, built more hotels.

Mr. Wynn has outlasted most his critics of that time and City Center will do the same.

It will be here helping take care of Vegas long after most of the posters here are gone.

278,000 people want to come here.

Welcome them with open arms.

They are the people that keep our locals employed and the doors open. They are also the people that pay most of the taxes so that the residents don't have a high tax base.

Hopefully next year there will be even more!

Al Capone would be proud. The Culinary Union has become one of the best protection rackets in Las Vegas. They are able to get the city leaders to bow to them at every turn.

They lost in court yet our elected officials still bent to their wishes.

If you don't do what the Culinary Union wants they will do their best to shut you down and cost you money.

Nothing more then legal racketeering going on here.

I am starting to wonder who is in who's pocket here.
