DetMunch, I'm 47 and literally have lost everything I've worked for for the last 10 years too. I went from a positive 6-figure net worth to a negative 6-figure net worth in 3 years. If I was younger I'd say it was easier, but it's not. Never thought I'd end up here too but here we are, surviving. You are right, I have a supportive family who fortunately haven't been hit by hard times (I'm the only one) and friends who have gone through what I have...so yes I'm grateful too for this. Thanks for sharing.
