one or two Cirque shows is nice, but they have taken over the Las Vegas strip. They are like the Wal Mart of las vegas shows. Its a shame.

Makes me seriously question the judgement of the casino on this one.

Homeowner did the right thing. Non lethal force is all that should be used unless your life is threatened. If they threaten you in anyway all bets are off.

I'm glad he is helping other people, thats a great and very honorable thing to do. But these stupid stories of going to heaven and hell are a load of crap.

Yesterday and the day before and the day before that and the day before that, I was in a marker crosswalk on Oakey drive in front of Bob Baskin park and car zoomed by me like I did not exist. I had to stop and wait for them in a marked cross walk or they would just run me down. I cross Oakey on that cross walk every single day and it is rare that any driver will even slow down. They will make me stop in the middle of the street or run me over. Its just disgusting how terrible the drivers are in this city.

I support unions and I support good fair pay for workers. But if these workers have received 12.9% pay increase in the last tow years then they are doing better than just about every other worker in clark county. Most of us have no received any raise in four years and to expect the tax payer to pay raises for county workers is a bit back wards. I suggest eliminate all longevity pay, that concept is ridiculous, and give them an annual raise based upon cost of living increases. Most likely in the 2 - 3 % per year range. Maintain a nice retirement and health plan for them. Thats what fair for workers and tax payers. Done!

I guess the question comes down to did the DUI lead to the child being hit. Or was it something else like a child ran out in the street in front of the car. So yes he probably is guilty of DUI and will certainly be punished for that, but the jury needs to look at all the evidence so an appropriate punishment con be determined. Its very easy for all of us to be outraged but there is due process and we have to let the system work.

Sounds like the kid was totally at fault here. So besides a basic DUI charge I dont see why the man was charged with a Felony. That doesnt make any sense what so ever.

I recycle everything that can be recycled and I will tell you we desperately need a once per week recycling pick up. Once every two weeks and I have stuff falling out of my three little bins. Even if it is once every two weeks we still need the large single stream bins. They make it so difficult its no wonder few people do it. I really cannot stand throwing away anything that can be reused though. So I tolerate it for now and hope these people get this fixed....SOON!!!
