Low taxes, and Skilled labor force with good work ethic, and Cheap land, is what moved us from California to Washington state 15 years ago. (no state income tax...yet)

Like a drug dealer giving out free samples, Free land should be handed out...No taxes for 5 years..etc get em on the hook. There is no reason for a small manufacturer to not relocate. California has such an unfriendly business environment it should be easy pickings.

I can speak with first hand knowledge of the canadian border with Washington state. There are many many gaps. There was a tunnel that was used by drug smugglers for years that was recently closed. there are other gaps that I know I could walk across.
