Big Mike is a great man. How can you so harshly criticize a man who has taken the graduation rates for athletes up 33% in a state that is ranked 48th in acedemics in the nation? As for the football team, great things do not happen over night. Is it not enough that many other teams are winning national titles, which has not been done in many years. Why are people so impatient and so unappreciative for what Mike Hamrick has brought to UNLV's table? Most importantly, he has loyalty. He could have taken other jobs to build sports programs at other schools, but he chooses to stay with UNLV and try and help make the sports programs astonishing, which he is obviously accomplishing. So, thanks Big Mike. You're are outstanding at what you do and who you are.
