"African-Americans voting for Obama are racists" -- aw, jeez, guys, this is nutcase reasoning. African-Americans ALWAYS vote for Democrats in huge numbers. Both John Kerry and Bill Clinton won 90+% of the African-American vote. I believe Carter was over 80%. I suppose those were racial transcendance votes.
And what about Women, Jews, and Hispanics, who also always break in favor of the Democratic candidate, and who are poised to do so in unprecedented numbers (54% for Women, 77% for Jews, 62% for Hispanics) -- I guess these groups are..ageists, who won't vote for McCain because they hate old people? That's certainly more solid ground. Because ANY Democrat would win the African-American vote. And that has as much to do with the good relationship between Democrats and African-Americans as it has to do with the overt bigotry of Republicans toward everyone who isn't old, white, mean, and male. You reap what you sew, fellas. Enjoy the cheap seats. You bought 'em.
