1. Locals get in free to a number of these clubs, if the family was so concerned about price, they could have been just a bit more patient or planned better and gotten to the club a little earlier

2. No need to disparage the employees of these establishments

3. Price and Value don't always jive

4. Did the daughter and her friends have fun, what's the pricetag on giving your daughter an ubelievable 21st birthday party? Priceless is my bet

And after this editorial, warning the "Casinos" that they should be concerned about unhappy patrons, lets say Tao's (insert Pure Group) reportable revenues drops by 25%, uhhhh oh yeah they will still be the highest grossing restaurant / nightclub in the country. (see list below)

Give me a break, the real issue or warning to issue if any to the "casinos" should relate to licensing with the State Gaming Control Board.

But at the end of the day, do you really think any state agency would take the gaming license away from the top 3 or 4 tax paying entities in the State of Nevada.

Lastly, is paying doormen and other service providers egregious tips a concept unique to Vegas? I think not. Like many other things in Las Vegas, we did not invent this phenomenon but we do it bigger and arguably better than any place on earth.

Tax evasion is wrong. Paying a fee for special treatment is not.

This editorial just does not make any logical sense.

I really admire your unwavering support of the junior senator. I respect her and her candidacy.

However, I view the Senator's loan as the symbolic bookend to an era of political fundraising that relied disproportionately on well connected wealthy individuals that could max out their contributions on the first day a candidate announced.

The democratization of political fundraising will usher in a paradigm shift in the conventional wisdom governing campaign finance. Long gone are the days that any candidate can come to Nevada or any other state and simply focus on cultivating a relationship with the gentry class and neglect the masses.

Bundlers will always be relevant for local, congressional and senate campaigns, but the advent of the 24 hour news cycle, You Tube and high speed internet access has turned presidential political fundraising on its head.

Senator Clinton’s loan represents an investment in a strategy that is fundamentally rooted in an antiquated view of the power of a truly grass-roots campaign.

Caucus math is ludicrous regardless of who you are supporting politcally.

Question: If a precinct within a local neighborhood is allocated 10 delegates based upon the number of registered democrats in the area, how many people need to show up to that precint's caucus in order to apportion all 10 delegates.

Answer: 1, therefore 1 man = 10 delegates

Question: If I support Dennis Kucinich at my caucus and he is not "viable" do I still get to officially register my 1st preference to make sure my voice is heard?

Answer: No, final delegates are the only metric that is officially recorded

My point is the notion of 1 man 1 vote is a misnomer as it relates to a caucus. To suggest otherwise is disingenous and only creates more mistrust of the political system in a state where engagement as opposed to apathy is needed.

"Who could have predicted that a lawsuit based on the principle of “one man, one vote” would be tossed by a federal judge who thought it best that he shouldn’t mix into Democratic Party politics?"

Anyone interested in the rule of law being upheld by a federal judge could have predicted the outcome.

Very tame debate, I was disappointed the at-large lawsuit was not discussed.
