It is sad to see that a few can be so applauded for a lawless act or for disavowing a lawful order. It is then talked about there freedom of speech. Well how about the other majority that were also there, what about there freedom of speech? What about there freedom to a peacefully gathering were are there rights? Do they not have any and only the few have rights? I believe rights are some thing we all have! The actions of Thursday by a few were unlawful and nothing more. they were not invited to a closed gathering so they came in like a bugler ,a thief, a law breaker and thus were treated just as that, a criminal same as if they broke into my house or your house. Same as I would be if I had there home or there gathering. Breaking the law is just that breaking the law. Being a vet or not makes not a bit of deference it is a criminal act and as such makes the person doing the act a criminal. It is like yelling fire in a crowded theater. Doing that is not a freedom of speech it is instigating a riot as a danger to others and ones self and so was this act. A danger to ones self and others. do not encourage lawless acts but lawful meaningful acts that earn you respect not disregard .Do some thing that people will listen to you with respect long after the fact by how you carry your self not by a 30 second sound bite and a court date but nothing more . As one who was watching the whole thing on TV. I can tell them this. They made only one impression on me and that is not a good one. Had they acted like a respectful people with a real message, done in a lawful manner, I would have listened. What they did do was turn me off to there message. They not only did this then but also for the foreseeable future also. To all that were with me watching this it was nothing more then some fanatics trying to get noticed .I ask where were they during the other convention as they too were voting on the same things and being they are the majority. only they have and have had the power to pass or stop any thing from passing so if this was an honest and for real protest it would have been agaist both parties and not just the minority party. get real!
