@BURRITOBandit2 Since Uncle Ronnie started the illegal immigration invasion back in the 1960's, average Americans have not have a real raise.

Instead both adult members of the family must now work. The situation in the last 10 years has gotten so bad to maintain lifestyle most have gone into debt way beyond their means.

So there you have it, my last comment on this website. Bye-Bye everyone have a nice life.

Who said we all like Capitalism?

I would submit MOST people don't like it. The pile of Laws and Government in place to neutralize it should be a screaming clue how much we luv it.

I am really sick of these arguments which assume we all love Capitalism so we should shut our traps about all the bloody abuses going on.

Illegals are Illegal because long ago we understood the use of slave labor is wrong, for us AND those who are basically being exploited. When does that EVER enter the damn discussion?

WalMart? you're kidding right? Beyond trash who really likes WM?

"But I agree that taxes should be increased, but not just for the rich but for all taxpayers. A $100 income tax filing fee (don't call it a tax) would result in $144 billion in revenue over 10 years, or 10 percent of the debt reduction goal. This fee could be indexed to discretionary government spending so that when we want more government services, all would be paying for them."

This is based on what? concerning who? the numbers cited are based on what? from where?

BTW this article spills the beans on what all this TAX talk is really about...changing the language to call taxes something else. Demonize the word taxes to the level of say the word "Hitler", then start increasing the use of things you will call fees, service charges, transfers, tolls, tariffs, duty, levy, convenience fee, etc etc.

Simply more of the diversion tactic at work. Focus on "taxes" while raising all else.
