I am so dismayed by The Sun's promotion of the Clinton nomination. From the start, her campaign has replicated the disingenuous, dishonest, manipulative and corrupt campaign policies which characterized both Bush elections. By this endodrsement, you are buying into the corporate meme and acknowledging the powerlessness of MSM in forwarding cohesive and honest editorial reporting. It is moments like this that make me ashamed to be an American. The Obama campaign has created a nationwide movement of citizens who are ready to engage in reclaiming our active role in democracy. I will not vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton for President. This is a major disappointment and an example of how unethical journalism in America has become.

The quality of the comments submitted here regarding the qualifications for Sen. Obama reflect just how uneducated these posters are, relying on their information on MSM flame wars and right wing tactics. I have posted above a few examples from the Senator's background and highlighted one of his most exemplary pieces of legislation.
I urge readers to visit the Senators website and read up on his policies www.barackobama.com and to broaden the scope of their information gathering tactics rather than engaging in such outrageous commentary. Shame on you.

Here is one of the finest examples of Obama's work as US Senator.
Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (S.2590). (ExpectMore.gov.)

Sens. Obama, Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), John McCain (R-Ariz.), and Tom Carper (D-Del.): Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (S.2590). requires the Office of Management and Budget to create a searchable online database of all governments contracts, hailed as a "Google" for federal spending (including loans, various grants, contracts, and other financial assistance).

Ethics Reform: Obama was chosen to head the team of senators working on ethics reform becuase of his experience in working across party lines as a state Sen. in Ill.
Here are the recommendations Obama put forward:
* A prohibition on paid coordination of lobbying activities.
* A ban on lawmakers' negotiating future employment as lobbyists.
* A prohibition on advocating for earmarks in which the lawmaker has a financial interest.
* A prohibition on buying votes with earmarks.
* A requirement that earmarks be available for scrutiny during business days. [17]

None of these recommendations were included in the final legislation. While Obama acknowledges his role in writing the ethics legislation, he personally voted against the bill, because he recognized it was 'too weak' and did not meet with the standards of ethical reform he believed were necessary.

Here is a brief overview of someof the work Sen. Obama did during his tenure as Illinois State Senator:
Helped to author a state Earned Income Tax Credit that provided benefits to the working poor, worked for legislation that would cover residents who could not afford health insurance, successfully helped pass bills to increase funding for AIDS prevention and care programs. Obama also passed bills that put limits on racial profiling and put cameras in police interrogation rooms.

Obama Truth shouldn't be in Las Vegas, where everyting is about the throw of the dice. Keep pumping your pablum on the Clinton Machine around here, I'll just keep marking you for removal. You are so obviously a troll. Let the Nevada people control their own discussion boards, will you?
