Two political families controlling the White House for more than twenty years is flat out wrong.
There is this feeling I get that many people are voting for Hillary because of name recognition and gender.
Are these or are these not superficial reasons to vote for someone? If not, what major legislation has Hillary passed? Is she a uniter for our country? Does she want more transparency in government? Does she take lobbyist money? Answers:Yes, None, No, No, and Yes

Barack Obama gave up multi-million dollar opportunities in law firms to be a civil rights attorney. Barack is worth a modest 450,000 to 1.1 million. Edwards and Hillary are worth about 29.5 million and 50 million, but they claim to understand the average worker.

I'm a supporter of Barack Obama. Let me just say first that I noticed some harsh language from another Barack supporter. Please don't do that. Always make a political or moral point. That said.
The Clinton’s never indexed the minimum wage to inflation like Barack Obama wants to, so the poor immediately saw inflation eat away at their small gains.
Federal Minimum Wage Bush one-April 1991 $4.25
Clinton-October 1996 $4.75 Clinton-September 1997 $5.15 You don't close the gap between the rich and poor with a .90 /hr raise over 8 years!
“The income gap actually grew more during the Democratic Clinton administration than it has during the Bush administration. According to U.S. Census data, the share of income for the wealthiest 5 percent rose from 18.6 percent in 1992 to 22.1 percent in 2000. That’s a jump of almost 19 percent.” The capital gains tax was(20%) and less than the income tax(38%) so that helped the wealthy stock owners keep more of their money, and made wage earners pay more in taxes.

Our country deserves a chance for a fresh new start from twenty years of a Bush or Clinton in the White House.
Another supporter of the Hillary camp has apologized. When do people start to hold Hillary Clinton accountable for dirty politics?

I'm a man raised by a single parent (my mom) and as a consequence have better relationships with women than men. I'm getting the sense that many women are voting for Hillary in large part because of gender. That is a superficial reason to vote for someone. I'm also getting the sense that they believe that this is their one chance to vote a women in. That is also untrue. The truth coming out of Iowa and NH, is that the country is more mature than people give it credit for. Give Barack Obama a chance to unite this country. We cannot tolerate this revolving door between the Bush and Clinton families.

History has been overtly generous to the Clintons in what it perceives they have done for the poor.

Furthermore, capital gains tax was only 20 percent during the Clinton Presidency. That means the super rich only paid 20 percent on their income from the stock market. Actual wage earners would pay up to 38 percent. Most CEO get paid through stock so they only pay 15% tax now and 20 % back then. The rich got richer and the poor got .90/hr spread out over 8 years!

I'm a male who was raised by a single mom. As a consequence, I have an emotional bias in favor of women in general.
But I'm supporting Barack, because it is wrong to vote for someone based on gender or race. It's also wrong to vote for someone because of name recognition.
The world is full of experienced people, but people with Barack Obama's abilities are rare indeed!
