The best solution I've heard for disposing the nation's nuclear came from a young electrician I was working with in Sacramento, California a few years ago. It's so simple. Even told Art Bell about it over there in Parumhp(sp?).
Put the nuclear waste aboard disposable rockets.
Aim them at the sun.
When the rockets get close enough to the sun, poof!, no more nuclear waste. Go ahead, shoot down the idea. Art Bell did. Meanwhile, our nuclear waste continues to grow...
