A former girlfriend brought me to see Barry Marshmallow. I've got to say, he puts on a good show but it's probably a tough buy in this economy.
Was Dick Cheney not available?
I guess I'd need to see the SF fixture before deciding, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Venetian had someone copy the fixtures for a fraction of the cost. What else would you expect from a city that has a fake Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty and man-made canals?
In other words, fans were tuning out. Late start times and safe but boring cars had led to boring "races" and a dip in viewership. The COT has ruined racing at small tracks such as Bristol and Martinsville. Keep tweaking NASCAR.
Will this turn-back-the-clock night only cost $20 a ticket? Winner gets to face the Italian Stallion in Rocky 7.
He's no Franco Deliz. Now that guy knew how to put on a show.
Kahne now has to knock off 11 guys in front of him and Busch is switching cars to avoid the same type of problem Kasey had. Even in Vegas, this looks like a long shot. I don't care who wins as long as it's Martin, Stewart, Vickers, Busch, Biffle, Newman, Kahne, Edwards, Montoya or Gordon.
All-natural... Seriously, I hope he is monitoring himself. Too many too soon.
Somebody get Dana White a tissue.

NASCAR has become anticlimactic. Only 12 drivers matter for the final 10 races - at least that's what the TV broadcasters keep telling us. I'm not a Johnson fan (I don't know why - he's never really offended me in any way) and I just can't bear to watch as he (and Knaus) work toward a historic feat. I'll be rooting for Mark Martin as I watch football over the next five Sundays.
