Good work, Ron. It's easy to see why SDSU -- a team that has had a remarkable string of success against UNLV -- would want to continue to beat up on a team with a top 10 RPI. But it was their choice to kill the rivalry and we shouldn't reward them for doing that. Time to rekindle some PAC-12 rivalries.
Well they do, 1rebelfan. It's a very common look.
You're probably right, Steve. The President chose this hotel so as not to offend any Muslims.
Get a life.
Even if he was trying to avoid offending anyone, why is it automatically Muslims that you assume he's trying not to offend? What about Mormons?
Besides, he stayed at Caesars a year and a half ago. Why the change of heart?
You people are ridiculous -- it's only frustrating because you don't seem to realize it.
I'm all for the improvement in UNLV but this really strikes me as a meaningless statistic as it pertains to colleges like ours.
You have to ask yourself, why are the students choosing the school to which they've been accepted. For schools like Harvard and Stanford, it's because those students REALLY want to go to a top university.
UNLV's "popular" statistic is inflated because it acts more like a default/fallback choice for the students that go there. For the most part, students know whether or not they're getting in...they're not crossing their fingers and hoping for the best.
Good point on Marshall. I forgot how poorly he shot from behind the arc during his first year. He sure found his confidence -- and shot. All that work he's put in is paying off.
Good work, Anthony!
AWWWWWW MAN!!!! Welcome to the Rebels, Khem!
Now bring on Bennett! Birch & Bennett Baby!
They got the feed fixed, thanks if that was you, Taylor!
Taylor, I know this is a long shot, but if you're seated by someone from the arena, can you ask them to switch the feed to what's being broadcast on the video board?
This is a joke! We're watching a bright white glow.
