What the general public obviously fails to understand is that every single employee on site has to go throw an obscene amount of safety training and meetings before they are even allowed to step foot on site. Perini and every sub contractor also have dedicated safety teams who hold safety meetings every week and walk the site continuously. Ultimately, safety is the responsibility of the individual worker. I can’t blame Ford because I neglected to put on my seatbelt and was then thrown out of the windshield in an accident. All Ford can do is put the seatbelt in and hope I’m smart enough to use it.
