This is just stupid beyond belief.I hope all charges against Ms. Guerra are dropped and the AG's office can find someone else to harass. It's not as if this state lacks for issues needing to be addressed. Wonder how many tax dollars have been wasted on this non-issue.
Once again it seems the wrong person is being asked to resign....er... I mean...is being forced out due to politics as usual. Ling and the board sure jumped on this non-issue...too bad they can't work this fast on issues that directly affect the health and safety of Nevadans.
"Weight gain and unhealthy lifestyles that focus on smoking and lack of exercise have sky-rocketed our health care costs,"...
Yeah and failing to stay monogomous while married isn't too good for your health either. Just sayin'.
The term 'Special Projects' Manager says it all.
@mred
You've made my day!
"When you start talking about taking away somebody's ability to make a living ... you are crossing into constitutionally protected behavior," Ling said. "As a state agency you had better be right and you better be able to prove it."
Alrighty then Dr. Ling. After all that has been presented in this story (A huge thanks to Mr. Allen) how much more proof is needed? Su's past behaviors are indiciative of the type of crap he has pulled in his 'practice'-if you can call it that. If this were a nurse or anyone else in the medical profession we would have lost our licenses and lost *our* ability to make a living due to endangering patients and performing unsafe practices and rightfully so. Although, perhaps this is the health care we deserve if we the public fail to rally for changes in the very laws the board uses as a shield to hide behind.
Win!
@ Henderson 4:27 True!
Nothing more annoying than a whiney cuckold.
Granted.Ling's reasoning may not be what we all want to hear at this point and he may not be at liberty to discuss all aspects of this case. However,Ling and the board need to realize that if their approach does not result in something tangible at the end of this mess-that they've helped perpetuate-they'd better prepare for the 'pitchfork and torch' crowd as I can only assume public outrage will be greater than ever.
