I think if a pitbull bit me I would be pissed too. I would want to shoot that damn dog as well. Why did the dog bite him in first place? Nobody is asking the more important question. WTF is with this guy's dog anyway. He never reported to the police but now he says something about having a gun pulled on him? Right, this guy is believable.
Jesus, so now someone says that a writer for a paper should go read a messageboard and report on nonsense posted by God knows who on there. I have been there many times and I have no idea what is real and what is BS on that site. You can't take much from the messageboard and say it is fact. Some of the comments on here are just amazing.
sadly even if he isn't found guilty he is still left with a scarlet letter on him for years. Domestic violence is one of those things that men get treated pretty bad immediately with little to no evidence. Still, who knows what happened here and he could have avoided the situation entirely.
I met Chace a few times at practice and that kid is exactly who we need on our team. He is team first guy who can pass, rebound and score when he needs to. I think that ankle injury held him out longer than we realized. He was flying around much more during practice than after that ankle sprain went down. I hope he does well and figures things out. He will be one of our biggest scorers for the next two years.
@unlvrebelx;
UNLV is not a strong academic university. I graduated from there and I would not brag about going there. There are plenty other schools with better reputations. However, I have a mechanical engineering degree from UNLV. I would take that degree over a Liberal Arts degree from Stanford, any day of the week. So a lot of it comes down to what you study and get out of the university.
As a season ticket holder I will either pull back my donation or just buy individual tickets next year. The problem is Ryan Greene is right. Last year wasn't much different except we had home games with Louisville, Reno and Southern Illinois but outside of those teams we played some crap opponents too. This coming year looks much, much worse I say. The coaches are being weak about this. Go play some away games if you have to start the season that way but don't stack yourselves with cupcakes. Lon and Co. are crazy if they don't think this will affect ticket sales. Everyone I know who follows basketball in the offseason is dissapointed. Let's hope we get some good news this weekend or else this place could get really bad quickly.
I agree with your picks Ryan. This is pretty much a given about Darrington Hobson. He is killing it out there. Too bad Lon Kruger didn't want to give him a scholarship and make him a Rebel.
UNLV won't usually get those type of players. That is because Lon won't play that recruiting game that they do at Kentucky, UCLA and Kansas. You have to pay to play if you know what I mean.
Ray, you are doing a good job man. We met last summer watching Shabazz play for Dream Vision. I am friends with John.
The only way to say you are really upset and you want a change is to stop attending games and buying tickets. I am done with season tickets after this year if we don't put it together and make the NCAA tournament. This is an absolute joke. I am sick and tire of watching the same thing happen every year with UNLV outside of the flukey Sweet Sixteen year.

I like the Black uniforms. I think they look great and we should keep them in the rotation. I'm not sure what the big deal is anyway with them.
