You dont understand. JOBS will not be in Vegas. doesnt matter who owns them.

You also dont get that Bush had NOTHING to do with the Fannie subprime crash, he tried to reform fannie in 05, Dodd in the Senate stopped the voter, it passed the house.

The culprits are the Dems, and Vegas is a victim of it. Vegas housing was in the biggest spec bubble due to it.

You can choose, like many like you to ignore reality, it wont change the outcome though.

I warned that the Dems were the black hats, and their agenda would simply continue what they started in the Subprime crash. Its all coming true, sadly.

In the end, Nevada will decline substantially, and Las Vegas will become an Urban Ghost Town.

There is NOTHING to stop it. Nevada has nothing to offer except Geothermal, and it costs too much money to get that going

The PC has killed the pre 1996 Vegas wiining style I lived from 1985 til it died. I now feel no need to go to vegas. Its a black hole for all money...

We went to vegas from 1974-2004 and used to have a great time winning and losing . Then in 2004 the slots were completely tied to computers. We did not go to watch the slot machines spin. We went to have a chance to win. When that chance disappeared so did we.So long vegas.

The LLV closing is the canary in the coal mine. We had been going to Vegas more than once a year since 1982.Lately we barely go once a year and may not go in 2010. The computer controlled payouts have finished me off.Instead we can spend our money seeing other parts of America,like Seattle/cruises . The Vegas we loved is gone.Aside from gambling spreading to other parts of the country, the greedy computers(operated by greedy corporations) coupled with the almost total ongoing loss of the American middle class (all the good jobs have gone offshore in the past 30 years),the collapse of the economy,and the growing Western drought will turn Vegas into a desert again. After all, all the "super-rich" cannot fill your 140,000+ rooms on a regular basis. IT WAS ALWAYS THE MIDDLE CLASS. And Vegas out priced itself !! Its the "perfect storm".I enjoyed the ride...

Vegas need to be re named Jericho because its fall is happening as we speak. Vegas was built in the desert with water that belongs to California and the desert is winning.Each time I fly in for the past 20 years I see Lake Mead lower and lower.

I just got back from 3 nites at the NY,NY. Unlike the 80's when I first started going twice or more a year the slots are literally DRY....I watched my friend pump ove 1400 dollars over a couple of days and get back about 200 ... I only watched..In the old days the slots would give you you enough to keep rolling. Now they are tied to a pc that says No to every pull. I will not be going back to gamble ..maybe to sight see .but my money will NOT go to gaming...Time for Vegas to say BYE !!!!and be re-invented or disappear
