I just read this in todays paper; "Ban on new charter schools lifted." Sometimes I scare myself at how in touch I am. Charter Schools should not scare anyone unless they are worried about their job. If they are doing their job properly that should not be a concern. The only thing that needs to be strictly enforced is Charter Schools are governed and have to follow the same education laws as public schools. Teachers must be certified and there has to be accountability. If they can do these things, more power to them. Competition is great, it forces change.
