Locally owned and independent for more than 50 years.
Graciously? You mean "they went quietly into the night", right? After the DNC and the RNC staged events I'm just so ashamed of my country and its people.
Although its supposed to be a republic using democratic methods for electing our "leaders" I don't consider "vote for mccain or abstain" a shining example of a democratic process. I believe "silencing dissent" is a better description.
When are the people going to realize that the strength of our system can only be found by exercising it, that apathy breeds much worse than contempt?
