Yes it should, john
It will be interesting to see how it goes as expectations rise.
Just as interesting will be those practices this season, Willis and old buddy Jasper at the point, Bellfield and Mo Rutledge battling Wink, Massamba and Santee testing Hamga at center. Darger and Rougeau at the 3 and 4, interchangably, against Santee and Rutledge, even walk-on Rob Ketchum in that latter role. He's tough and enjoys every second he gets to practice against these guys, making them better.
Arguably, some practices will be better than some games, most notably Southen Utah (11-19 last season), North Carolina A&T (15-16) and Colorado State (0-16 in the Mountain West, 7-25 overall), maybe even Wyoming (12-18).
Enjoy

william,
Don't count that arena or another option on the board (see my past stories on a Major League Soccer team coming to Las Vegas) out of the picture.
Something major might be right around the corner.
Wish I could reveal more.
Stay tuned.......

All I know is, Steve Lawrence is a class act. Has been all of his loooooong career. My better half and I saw his show Friday night and it was stellar. The two dozen-or-so piece orchestra was incredible, and Lawrence's singing, at 73, was spectacular. His comedic timing would have made Groucho Marx proud. And his reverence for the legends was grand. Few got the honor to tour the world for a year with Sinatra. Lawrence did. That says all you need to know about Lawrence.
