Wow, all the hate is amazing! The Mormon's are no different than any other group; religion, race or culture. If you have a community dominated by any of those an outsider may find it difficult to fit in. Pretty hard to label the Mormon's as exclusive in wanting to be around those that are like minded.

To all of those with the research and bible quotes and the "oh the Mormon's ignore the science...": first; wow, you have an enormous amount of time on your hands one can only wonder what drives your negativity. Second; what religion is based on science? Religion by definition is based on faith and belief typically in a higher power. No one says we found a rock with Jesus's birth certificate. So what is your point?

I think religions are fantastic, the majority promote strong family values, educate in ethics and morals and some provide alternatives to our strapped public education system. Other than terrorists, I have never meet a group of people aimed at harming others in the name of religion, so I would conclude that most are good people. And if someone wants to build a school, FANTASTIC!

For all the Mormon haters, you have to understand that the majority of people here think the Mormon's are alright. So they don't partake in some of the vices others do, so what. So they are a tight knit group that help each other more than they help you, so what. And if you really dislike them so much, celebrate a school where they will all flock to and away from you.

The hate stuff makes you guys look foolish, save it for your small groups of like minded friends who do not welcome outsiders.

In response to the person suggesting that the builders need to be limited on building.

I would suggest there are other factors which are driving the prices down, supply is certainly one of them, but demand is too. If people are losing their jobs and can not pay a mortgage or banks are not loaning the money to buy houses, then the price is driven down just the same.

Clearly it is a balance of all factors, but why not find ways to increase jobs (demand) instead of just limiting supply.
