Then they should buy a fleet of moving vans and give free moving to anyone who has been here less than 10 years - move them to St. Louis and Memphis and maybe New Orleans where they can enjoy the Mississippi first hand. Ok, immediately stop all construction - maybe grant one permit for every hundred units or so that are demolished so the rich could buy up empty low end houses, demolish them, and then build their castle. See I can solve all of the problems if you give me a few minutes - my proposal would decrease the back log of houses that can't be sold and decrease rental units until they are back to normal levels of 5% or so vacant.
