Hillary may be very qualified to be the President of the United States but if you check her approval rating along with how many people actually trust her, you'll find that her ability to pull the country together probably won't be any more effective than George W. Bush has been the last seven years.
Obama is offering a new change in direction. He doesn't come with the baggage from the 1990's and seems to have the ability to not only unite the Democrats but also is appealing to Independents and many Republicans. Even more important, he's bringing a large number of young people to the polls just when they need that "spark" and incentive to become active in making decisions that will directly affect their future and the future of their young children. We desperately need to leave the past behind us and move towards a new beginning with Obama leading the way.
