Eddie is a phony who believes he is God's Gift to Education whereas he is a sycophant for whomever the Superintendent maybe. His rating with teachers is zero and well earned. Ron Taylor is more than qualified. He will hold CCSD and CCEA accountable.

The designation of the Gold Butte region as a Conservation Area is positive. The problem will be the implentation by the BLM in their zealous desires to help develop property for maximum citizen usuage instead of conserving for the future.

It would appear that a qualified candidate is being excluded by a self serving public official.The only requirements should be age and residency for which Taylor meets. Yes, most of Nevada's elected bodies encourage citizen legislators.

Veterans is a name that recognizes a large group of Las Vegas citizens scattered throughout the area, thus would be encompassing a large spreadout geographical component of Clark County. As to earning the recognition, that is a well earned character of all veterans. Come on let's get off the dime and commenorate this deserving group.

McCain's age is a concern, but his political agenda frightens me more. Continue the Irag war, pro-life, anti-union, vouchers for education, keep tax cuts for wealthy, and selection of Gov. Palin as V.P. of Religious Right are issues that easily convince me to vote for Obama.
