Anyone who is unemployed in Nevada should accept reality and get the hell out of here. There are no new jobs here, and there will be none any time soon.
Why stay here when other States have much lower unemployment rates?
This all begs the question though, why DOES Nevada have the highest unemployment rate in the Nation?
The answer includes:
(1) Nevada has awful political leadership;
(2) Nevada welcomes every worker, legal and illegal;

Taken together, these factors have left far too many workers competing for far too few jobs.

Arizona chased out the illegals, and their unemployment rate is only 9%, and that takes into account that 'massive' boycott of Arizona.

Democrats in Nevada have made Nevada nothing short of a disaster.

'Illegal immigrants are not eligible for Medicaid', you say. Yea?
Illegal immigrants are also not allowed to work, get a Nevada drivers license, or receive any other benefit, but they most certainly do. Apparently, no one told the illegal immigrants, or maybe they could just care less.

I guess you also believe like Harry Reid that Nevada does not even have illegal immigrants, when the truth is that Nevada has a higher percent of illegal immigrants than any other city in the Nation.

Nevada's movers and shakers made their bed on the backs of illegal immigrants, and Nevada has been sleeping in it for a while, with lousy schools, crime, low wages, rampant drug use and human trafficking.

How is it feeling Nevada?

Last month the Arizona Republic newspaper printed the salaries and NAMES of every City and County employee earning more than $100,000. The data is even searchable on their web site.
Ofcourse, the newspaper had to threaten to sue the City and County to get the information, because the City and County did not want anyone to know how much they were paying out.

Why don't either of the Las Vegas newspapers do the same public service for Nevadans?

What's the matter? The Carpenters didn't hear that the economy is recovering? The Carpenters didnt hear dirtbag Harry Reid say that everything is getting better? The Carpenters didn't hear and see the propaganda on virtually every TV and newspaper outlet in Nevada saying that things are getting better?
Probably they did, and thought that if things are getting better, what happened to me?

What a surprise: the casinos do not want to pay overtime to their employees, and the Culinary Union agrees with the Casinos. Oh, and U.S. District Judge Roger Hunt agrees with the casinos.
And of course no one had anything to say about CEO Murren taking $ 13 million last year while untold thousands and thousands of MGM-Mirage workers got axed while MGM-Mirage drowned under the cost of HIS albatross: $10 Billion CityCenter (now worth maybe $2 billion).
Good Job Sid! You beat the casinos, and showed the paid off politicians and Culinary Union to be as rotten to the core as they really are.
This decision will hopefully cost the casinos dearly. Punitive damages anyone?
