All jobs in Las Vegas are hard and underpaid BUT not in Education. That's just how it is going to be.

UNLV does not provide and cannot provide quality education.

UNLV is more of a scam than a school.

For example, while nurses from the Philippines can pass the RN board Exams, UNLV scholars in UMC Hospital are not expected to pass that same exam.

Why is that?

Well, how can you even think of studying in Sin City where sex, booze, and gambling is hip? You got to be crazy. The truth is, NOBODY comes to Las Vegas to study. Like most jobs in Las Vegas, nursing is a tough & underpaid job. If you can make more money drinking and having sex, why bother passing that exam.

How rich is the booze and sex market in Las Vegas? Las Vegas entertains no less than 40 million tourists a year and not all of them can get enough.

You just can't expect to have quality students in Sin City. On the other hand, if you insist that you came here to teach: you must be a serious comedian.

The Governor is right. UNLV is a very expensive Comedy Central. We do not need it.
