Hey, I remember 19.95 rooms, .99 all you can eat breakfasts, .99 giant shrimp cocktails, free shows and all the other good stuff that WAS Las Vegas. It was why I went several times a year and always had a blast no matter whether I won or lost a few hundred bucks at the tables. What's Vegas now? Paris Hilton and a bunch of other "celebrities" that I wouldn't cross the street to have dinner with. $300 a night rooms, $100 dinners, etc. Who needs that crap? That's why I go to Reno now, at least they still know how to have fun without trying to extort every possible dollar from people.
Gibbons re-elected? HA! In a three way race with Stalin and Hitler, Gibbons would come in a distant third. And Stalin and Hitler are dead! What's that say about Ol' Dirty Jim's chances for a second term?
Gov Gibbons nickname in N. Nevada is "Ol'Dirty Jim" and he's earned it. His skirt chasing antics are legend, and seem to involve mostly married women. And they go back far before his divorce started. I have no doubt that everything this woman said about him is true. The paper might want to ask some of the female employees at the gov's office and mansion about his roaming hands and comments to them.
