He was high on drugs and violent with his own family? There are bad police, but not in this case...but these are simply stupid people trying to get a free lunch. Why we allow these ignorant people to pursue unfounded legal cases....
They should give raises. Then they should start laying off prosecutors, just like businesses are doing in the private sector. Start with the most corrupt of the corrupt. Then the head prosecutor should go to the sheriff and tell him to have his officers stop putting every petty criminal in jail, and stop exaggerating petty crimes into more serious offenses. Then we can start scaling back our overly corrupt judicial system to a smaller and much more reasonable size. Then we can cut all unnecessary government services....trim the fat.
Great idea! Go organic, and make use of unused land!
Spend 40-70 million for a stupid underpass.... only if they cur welfare and benefits to those living in the area
This is an ignorant waste of money and time. Why don't these people invest this time into the children of their neighborhood. Encourage a drug free life, education, and employment. Discourage crack use, prostitution and homelessness. Walk a few hundred extra feet, and take washington under the freeway, or H street to Bonanza under the freeway. Then they can avoid the day laborers and homeless that lined up under F street making the road nearly impassable.
Talk about ignorance. Keep F street closed. Who cares! This is just so ignorant I cannot rant anymore... Impeach Horsford for ignorance
Avalanche, well said... "A good restaurant will be successful in good and bad times especially if ownership understands how to adapt.
Dropping prices won't solve the underlying problem of just OK food.
Economic slowdown is like a forest fire, it clears out the debris and the clutter to make room for more growth... in this case a not so great BBQ joint shuts down, making room for a better restaurant."
I agree whole heartedly. When I go out, I will pay for great food and great service.
Just OK food, lousy service and high prices = bankrupt. Be gone.. more In-n-outs will open
I agree 100% with botfx:
"The only valid arguments I have heard for seatbelt laws are fiscal. In fact, my present life insurance policy pays an additional $10,000 dollars if I die in a car accident while wearing a seat-belt. That is a worthy consideration. If I choose to wear a seat-belt it will be because I deem it appropriate.
Other than those considerations, I find seatbelt and helmet laws for adults offensive to say the least. It should be a free choice. I am not saying that wearing a seatbelt is bad, but it should not be mandated on the basis of the government protecting you from yourself." ( I do agree seat-belts serve a purpose, but no one should be forced to wear one. Many of us grew up with out seat belts and are alive today.)
This young lady made a choice. We were not there to see the incident. Police can only articulate probabilities, unless there was a witness. Either way, we Americans are ignorant to think that we can pass laws restricting the very freedoms that this country was founded on. If we drive without a belt, or ride without a helmet, and we die...it was our choice. We are all closer to death every day. A law will not prevent us from dying, simply restrict the freedoms we have while we are alive.
Stop voting for feel good laws, and the politicians that propose them.
My condolences to the family. I am sorry for the judgmental perfect people in this forum passing their ignorant views.
I don't care for the many corrupt and dirty officials, especially dirty cops. But automatically attacking police officers , without any contrary evidence, is very ignorant.
For all of the dirty cops, there are many more who are honest and upright. If that man made threats to harm his family, and they called 9-11 asking for help, then his "poor little daughter" is better off without him as a father. I can already see the comments if the officers had allowed him to enter the home and kill those inside.
Please think of the officer who has to live with taking the life, even if he was potentially protecting the lives of others.

Americans still arguing to keep things that do not work...postal service... USPS provides a service, if you don't like it, don't use it. Quit bickering and complaining and demanding government oversight. Get your prescriptions delivered by Vons or another company that uses DHL or something.
Plain and simple, USPS is a service run by people who are stuck in a mentality that they will never go away and the government will protect them, they will go away because they refuse to be innovative and streamlined, and provide a service so great, that we need them forever! Overall...their service sucks.
I feel no remorse for the sinking USPS ship.
