I was offered a job as a host at a club, not to be named, and I can tell you the door staff even there was horrible. I couldn't believe the bs they would pull. First of all, advicing that we do not "ask for" money to help people get in, but if they "offer" not only do we take it but not help them get in so they can pay the door guy more. It's insane. I could not believe the way they treated locals and tourists. I saw a night when the door staff would not let a local girl in who was trying to just get her friend out who was drunk. By the way the drunk girl drove home and got a DUI that night since the door guy would not another local in to "rescue" her. I guess he doesn't care (along with the club) that someone trying to help the rest of our city, by not allowing a drunk person on the road, is worth allowing in for even a minute. What's worse is the girl going to resuce the drunk one, has been in that club repeatedly and was called by a friend who worked there to pull her friend out. Wonder what the thoughts of that club owner are now.
It doesn't matter what race he is, bc he is a SOB who is heartless, stupid, money grubbing, and destroyer of lives. I can't believe the is still acting like these things "didn't happen" that this is all "someone's view of him" not reality.
What a moron. I can't believe my insurance company made me go to see such a butcher... to think that this was the only place in Vegas my insurance would send me. Maybe we should sue them too. What about you guys, did you have a choice on where to go?
Dear Moscasti,
I feel for you... I am willing to fight with you for anything we can get you and the others affected. I have not gotten my hep c test results back yet, but I have gotten my HIV test results back and they were negitive. I can only pray for you and the others. I know how it is to have something affect your life. I was born with a heart condition and have had surgeries and two pacemakers to help me survive. Due to the meds I take for this, it is distroying my liver, but to have something you did to be safe cause you this pain is just WRONG. I have been chatting with others who are going through this also. We all need to stand up and fight. Please keep us updated on anything we can do for you. I will gladly join any class action suit and even I only get pennies from it, I think the ones who have recieved the negitive results on these tests should donate the money to people like you. I still have faith in some of the doctors in the town/state, such as my ped's cardiologist. And yes I do see a ped's doc even though I am 32 (33 this month) and at least she is wonderful.
If you need someone to help fight, I am here for you.
I was one of the ones who had the colonoscopy during that time. As of right now I have gotten my HIV test back, NEGATIVE, thank Goodness, still no answer on the hepatitis test, but honestly I can deal with hepatitis, it would be horrible, but not the death sentence that HIV/AIDS is. I can only pray for everyone who might be affected. I also want to know what the board of health and the CDC is going to do when 5000 plus letters come back because people have moved, died, gotten married or divorced and have changed names and unable to be found? So someone who lived here in 2006 had the colonoscopy, got married and moved to Idaho and now has hepatitis or worse, but doesn't hear about this scare and then in 5 years they show up to the doctor wondering why they are sick. What about the people who had the test, died and due to age no autopsy was done and never knew they had hepatitis and still was being a "loving spouse" and the still alive spouse got it and now has remarried, and don't forget the 30 something year old couple who had the test and then found out they are going to have a baby. The couple doesn't want to raise a kid in Vegas and they move to Texas, and etc...
I am sure you get my point. I hope everyone is safe, and all I want is to see these SOB's in jail!
Arrests should be made, class action suits need follow and finally these people who did this, even by following orders need to be up on murder charges. If one person comes up with AIDS, they have committed murder. I have seen an ad already for Ed Burnstein for a class action suit... Maybe we all should be calling him. I just pray that nothing is wrong with me and I also pray I did not pass on anything to my boyfriend. I can't believe how many people, their loved ones, and their friends how been affected b this. I can only hope no more cases will be found and the rest of the world learns from this places mistakes.
I was one of the ones who went there for my tests. I actually had an appointment with my GP this morning, set up before this hit the news, and she got me lined up for the tests on Monday morning. She was very nice about everything and even told me that the chances are small, but I should still get tested. She also told me that now Quest, where you can get tested will be open on the weekends to deal with the blood tests to make sure everyone has the chance to get the work done. Also I learned while at the doc, I overheard the receptionist tell someone that letters would be sent out to people who may have been infected that they need to get tested. I recommond going directly to your GP and have them get you the referral for the blood work.
If anyone knows of any class action suits going on this please let us know so we can all go after the Son of a BXXCH who did this to us.
Good luck to all of us

I know when I got my results back I was so happy to hear I was safe. I was lucky, the story broke on that Wed night. I had set up a regular doc's appointment for that Friday to get a referral. My doctor put me in for that Monday morning to get tested. My HIV test came back find the next morning, but it took a week to get the Hep C test back. I can tell you I also didn't eat, I cried, I didn't sleep, I couldn't work very well. I never want to go through that again.
I finally started talking to my friends about this and I find out that I have friends who went through the same thing, or they have family members or co-workers. One friend, her co-worker's husband has been affected the the co-worker was going to get tested. I couldn't believe the pain these people are feeling. I am grateful that I am not infected. I still want to join a law suit, not to get money, but just to be another nail in the coffin for these docs and nurses.
