Nate ..you are correct in the way the machines can be changed ( no one currently playing etc..) but it still gives the Slot Director complete control over his machine mix and hold % on those machines. On weekends when the traffic is busiest he MAY tighten the hold% on video reel machines..then loosen them back up on Monday morning..I'm not saying this WILL happen only that it is possible with this new technology...
Casinos will now have what every gambler thought they always had...a switch in back to make the machines looser or tighter...and you know they won't ever make them looser.. they have a huge debt to service..I don't think the gamblers will embrace this new technology
I'm betting that these guys were also paid for their breaks..i.e. 2 10 minute breaks and a half hour lunch break...paid for...so they dont have to clock in or out..it's pretty much a standard practice in the industry to have these before shift meetings...maybe trop should sue them for the time they were PAID to be on break...
Dont beat around the bush gonefishin65...tell us how you really feel :-)
A refreshing point of view...Make your food a loss leader to get gamblers through the doors...what a concept!!

You didnt read it right...it was 460.8 million in 2008 and 423 million in 2009
By the way that comment was meant as against the government running it not Democrats or Republicans...government in general screws things up when they try to take over private industries...
Hmm the government in charge of healthcare hmm...
If I remember correctly..The Feds took over the Mustang Ranch after indicting Joe Conforte...and had to cloes it...how hard is it to run a brothel? And you wanna give them the whole healthcare system?
Yeah they have positive cash flow...because they havent making payments on their loans or bonds since March of last year...sheesh I would have great cash flow too if I didnt have to pay my mortgage. The Herbst brothers need to go back to racing

I was in Vegas for G2E and visited the "M" for breakfast on a Wednesday...while I agree the resort is absolutely beautiful...I counted the slot floor and they only had 108 people playing at 10:30 in the morning and they have over 1800 slots...thats not a very good ratio...hope they do better cause it's a awesome building...and a casino NOT OWNED by Harrahs or MGM
