Debra better hope I'm not on the jury when the scooter driver sues for pain, lost wages, etc. Debra...you better open your check book and bend over. I think you'll be paying for the rest of your life...and deserve to.
Does anyone really care? Does it make one bit of difference? Remember Clinton, Edwards, Craig, Sanford, Guiliani, Gingrich and so forth. I wish each of them would get a pistol and one round and do the honorable thing.
How about the GOP announcing an Ensign challenger.
If he was under the influence, 20 years to life without parole.

Do I think that prison guards can be corrupted? Hell Yeah. Do I think prison guards will be reprimanded, sentenced, or reprimanded? Hell No. Not every guard is dirty, but every guard is tainted by these accusations. To weed out the bad one, ALL guards should undergo polygraph testing (yes, I know it's not infallible (is that a double negative)) and if any guard refuses, immediately terminate them or reassign them to other non-prison duties. It's unfortunate that civil rights will be trampled, but if I was a honest guard, I would not hesitate to take the test. If I was dirty, I would fight tooth and nail to not take the test.
It's unfortunate that the drunk driver wasn't crtically injured instead of the innocent victim. I can only hope that the next time Sylvia drives drunk, he gets into a one car accident and the only fatality will be his. I pray that the 16 year old victim survives and recovers fully; if not, Sylvia should receive at least 24 years.
Mission Accomplished!!!
A drunk should not be driving...period. If a drunk drives and kills someone...even a vagrant...should he go to jail? In my opinion...yes!!! For how long? How about a minimum of 12 years and eligible for parole in 8 years. Maybe that will keep more drunks off the road. This time a vagrant...next time maybe you.
