First Transit is a deceptive company and will sacrifice it's employees and the passengers to make a buck. They treat thier current empoyees bad and have a losing mangement team in place at the Paratransit operation. We don't need them running anything else in Nevada.
This is about the desire of those that are homeless to stay homeless. Providing 5 acres isn't the best answer but it pssibly could help. Cleaning up the shelters and making their rules of operation easier for the homeless to get help would be the first step to getting them at least off the street overnight. The shelters are more dangerous than the streets.
This is another free pass issued by the Sun for Obama. He is supposed to be a leader not the morality police. He has a problem not letting his personal prejudices against anyone who opposess his actions, speech or ideas. He needs to get the feedback that we the people put him there - in the White house -and we are still here waiting for some leadership from him.
Unfortunately, the day has come for America to become just another Western Socialist country. Whether we want it (Socialism) or not President Obama is going to help us get there.
The children are always the victims and in this case who is supposed to protect them? The police, the district attorney should have. We need ansewrs to why children are victimized by our judical system.

The RTC needs to have oversight by the State. The County Commissioners are too corrupt to deal with this contract. First Transit is a low class compampany that treats it's employees bad. Veolia isn't any better. Both need to get out of our bus system.
The RTC needs better rules about ridership not just providing service to tax payers from all areas of the valley. When I ride the paratransit most of the old people my age stink of urine and feces. Letting these people on the buses discourages ridership by clean people who need the service. The RTC is more worried about money than contaminating the people who use the service.
Their is no excuse for filth and no excuse to let these two companies continue to gain from our city's need for these services.
