I agree, we can only hope.
As for the "god" response above, this is why I do not belong to a party. When you have no defense, attack, another reason we are in this mess.
We need real leadership and adults working together not attacking each other, "grow up" and find solutions.

You state that 10,000 scientists have come "out" saying man is not the culprit behind global warming, yet I cannot find this stated anywhere except in political publications, all the serious publications and information I find states that we are indeed speeding up the warming process of the planet. Now can we stop lying about it and find answers if any.
