ps. How can Juan say they didn't mean to kill Mr Cox when they literally choked the life out of him for 10 minutes!?!? Are they that stupid that they don't know if you choke someone for that long they die? If it was such an accident, then why didn't they call 911 right after it happened and tell the police their story then and there. But no, they left the scene after taking stuff and then went on with their lives like they had done nothing wrong. They had over 24 hours to get their lies and stories straight. They don't deserve an ounce of compassion.

This makes me so mad and so sick inside. Those two are lying about Mr Cox. If they only wanted to rob him then why didn't they just wait until he had left for his trip home? Why did they rob him at all? If he had done what the boys are claiming then why did they stay in the house and ride all the way back to Jose's moms house and then do something? Why didn't they just call someone to come and get them or why didn't they leave and just walk away or call and report him?

I'm sorry, but how can anyone believe a single word those two say? What's really sad and totally not fair is that Mr Cox isn't here to set the record straight! Those two make me sick! I hope and pray they never see a day of freedom for the rest of their lives.

How can two confessed murderers plead not guilty? That makes NO sense! Again, look at Juan's face and tell any of us how humble and sorry he looks for what he and his brother did. Sorry, but it's true. All of us who are still in choir or were friends and family of Mr Cox miss him SOOOOOO much. Nothing is the same without him here. Nothing.

We are ALL praying those two never have a day of freedom for the rest of their lives.

are you kidding me? look in their eyes and then look in the pics posted of Mr Cox and then tell me their eyes aren't empty! they have no feelings. sorry. but they don't. they had no regard for life. they had no regard for juan's "friends" in choir. look at all of us crying in the pics from the memorial! what regard did they have for us? they had no regard for their family or for Mr Cox's family or they would have made better choices. what kind of good example was jose for juan to follow? oh ya, he wasn't!!! if juan was sorry shouldn't his face show some emotion or like he was sad for what he did? but there's nothing there. he looks mad or like whatever...i'll do what i want... like he always did!

you actually are going to believe all the lies those two have said because they're your friends? are you crazy? juan was supposed to be my friend too and he LIED constantly to me and to all of us in choir about alot of stuff he said!!! you want to believe a KNOWN liar and his accusations against someone that never lied to any of us. you want to question a good teachers reputation because he was helping someone? i've been in other teachers homes for LOTS of reasons. (never in Mr Cox's)

why wasn't juans family or you giving him a ride home after work? they had a hard life? cry me a river. there are people that have had harder lives and never kill someone. how in the freak do you choke someone for ten minutes and know they aren't moving anymore and then tie them up and they still aren't moving and they didn't mean to kill him? PUHFREAKINLEEZZZ!!! give us a break! murder is murder. stealing from anyone for any reason is wrong. so no matter what, those guys are where they belong and hopefully they will never be allowed out again. even a little kid knows its wrong to steal and to kill someone. so don't defend them for how hard their lives were. they had choices. what choice did they give Mr Cox? Mr Cox only ever tried to help his students and his friends out. He was going home to see his family and see old friends. those guys killed him for nothing!!! confused? hard life? and they had someone willing to help and they killed him... whatever. ur ridiculous.

I've thought about Mr Cox and his family so much in the past few days, knowing when his funeral was being held, when the visitation was. My thoughts turned to him alot. I remembered all of the ways he impacted my life and how hard this week is going to be.

Tomorrow will be our first day back from winter break, no Mr Cox to talk to, laugh with, listen to. Tuesday we will be performing our choir concert without him there to direct us and lead us. Wednesday is the memorial in his honor. The principal at Basic said that we should expect 2000 or more people to be there. I'm a senior this year and had so much I was looking forward to because of Mr Cox and reading and hearing lies about someone that has done nothing but be there for me and so many other students, parents and family makes me sick. This week will be so hard and I'm sure that there will be alot of crying.

Choir moms, grief counselors, staff and friends will be coming in to help us through the next few days.

We will forever miss you Mr Cox! I hope we make you proud this week and we can show EVERYBODY just what you taught us!!!

I'll be nice. No more, as long as you honor his family, friends and students request. We want to mourn in peace.
