For those of you who are weary of "I don't know who he (Obama)is," I share your weariness.
As Jon Stewart said (in response to Palin's assertion that Obama was a stranger/strange to Americans - who is he?), "we just met you yesterday!!!
In other words, Palin dropped onto the national scene a month and 1/2 ago. Obama has been in the public eye for (at least)2-3 years, under intense (sometimes awful) scrutiny during a grueling, long primary.
I wonder if people who do not "know him" have bothered to go to his website?? Read either of his two books?? Listened carefully to the countless debates/speeches/interviews etc., etc? I know the McCain campaign would like media to repeat its Democratic primary coverage just for the people (Republicans)who have just dialed in this fall, but that's not possible.
Finally, what do people "know" about Palin??? After 6 weeks??
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
P.S.: maybe if those who don't "know Obama" would stop reading the emails about his birth certificate, maybe they could get some good information.
Just a suggestion...
