Does the mother apply for a SS number the next morning after performing her "marital duty"? Is that now the official "birth" date of the fetus? Is it automatically a tax deduction, even if it won't be born until next year? What happens if the zygote doesn't implant, is a funeral held, a death certificate issued? Is the born child automatically 9 months old the day it takes its first breath on its own? Can a born child vote when it's 17 years and 3 months old? Can it legally drink in bars when it's 20 years and 3 months old?

See, you use the same old talking points but have no answers beyond that. You wouldn't know what to do if your beloved BS is signed into law. Why don't you quit while you're behind and go tackle some other problems that have a chance of being fixed.

Joe Heck is more concerned with aligning himself with Grover Norquist's pledge than doing anything for his constituents. IF he's voted back in (NOT with my help, that's for sure), he won't do anything to benefit his constituents for another two years. Voters must educate themselves about who they're voting for and then get out and VOTE. There should be NO excuses for voting dumb this time. The republic party has shown us and told us what they're about, and they don't even try to hide it anymore.

Corporations are NOT the backbone of the American economy, their employees are. Employees are what gives the corporations their obscene profits while working more for less, while the corporations hide their greedy profits. Get off your ivory tower pedestal and think for a change. We need MORE regulations for these greedy thieves or they can take their HQ to whichever 3rd world country makes up their labor force (it sure isn't in the USA). They want the best of both worlds and are screwing up this country something awful. But, you don't care, you got yours and that's all you care about. Attitudes such as yours is what's wrong with this country.

Al Franken was finally sworn in as the 60th Democrat, unfortunately, 45 days later Ted Kennedy (who was not showing up for work because he was dying) died. What should have been a full 60, really wasn't due to Norm Coleman acting like a child. We could have had more than 6 months at 60, but alas it was only 45 days with our 60th Senator on his death bed. Don't split hairs on this one.

Robert2 is still spewing lies. The Senate had 57 Democrats and two Independents who caucused with the Democrats. PERIOD. The two Independents did not raise the Democratic power to 61, it remained at 59. Why do you lie?

BTW, the Speaker of the House (Bo'ner) couldn't control his crew because of the teabaggers, those propeller beanie wearing punks who thought being a Representative was like summer camp, all fun and games, even to the point that a couple of them thought they could be sworn in over the TV while they were at the bar. Bo'ner is the most inept Speaker in the history of the House of Representatives. Which bills did Bo'ner send to the Senate that even had a chance of being passed? He knew before they were passed in the House they were DOA, but he sent them on anyway. He's useless and cannot control his side of the aisle.
