THE NEVADA PRISON SYSTEM AND THE NEVADA JUDICIAL SYSTEM NEEDS A TOTAL OVERHAUL. WITH MANDATORY MINIMUMS PEOPLE IN NEVADA ARE INSTALLED IN PRISON AND THE KEY IS THROWN AWAY. THE REASON FOR THIS IS THAT THE PRISONS ARE THE NUMBER TWO INDUSTRY IN THE STATE. ITS CASINOS, PRISONS, AND WAREHOUSES IN THAT ORDER. IF YOUR POOR IN NEVADA AND GET CHARGED WITH A CRIME YOU ARE GOING TO PRISON WHEITHER YOU ARE INNOCENT OR NOT. IF YOUR LUCKY A PUBLIC DEFENDER WILL SPEND ABOUT 2 HOURS ON YOUR CASE AND WRITE ABOUT ONE PARAGRAPH FOR YOUR APPEALS. MAKES ONE WONDER JUST HOW MANY INDIVIDUALS IN THE NEVADA PRISON SYSTEM ARE TOTALLY INNOCENT. I THINK WE WOULD ALL BE SHOCKED TO KNOW JUST HOW MANY INNOCENT PEOPLE EXIST IN NEVADA PRISONS. DON'T GET CHARGED WITH A CRIME IF YOUR POOR BECAUSE YOU WILL MOST CERTAINLY GO TO PRISON.
THANK GOD SOMEONE IS STARTING TO FIGURE OUT HOW SCREWED UP THE ENTIRE PRISON SYSTEM IS. THE WHOLE NEVADA JUDICIAL SYSTEM ALSO NEED A COMPLETE OVERHAUL. SO MUCH CORRUPTION EXISTS THAT IT IS ALL JUST PATHETIC. I THINK A THOROUGH AND COMPLETE INVESTIGATION OF THE PRISON SYSTEM AND JUDICIAL SYSTEM IN NEVADA IS PAST DUE. I WONDER HOW MANY INNOCENT FOLKS ARE IN PRISON JUST TO KEEP THE NUMBER 2 INDUSTRY IN THE STATE ALIVE AND WELL. THE AMOUNT OF PRISON TIME GIVEN OUT IS MANY TIMES MORE THEN OTHER STATES DEAL OUT ALSO. NOW WONDER THE STATE IS GOING DEEP IN DEBT. IT COSTS A BUNDLE TO KEEP THE SYSTEM RUNNING. HOWARD IS A YES MAN THAT DOES WHAT HE IS TOLD. WAKE UP NEVADA AND START AN INVESTIGATION OF THE MESS THAT IS ALIVE AND RUNNING STRONG.
Judge Hardesy is one of the very few individuals in the Nevada Judicial System that actually cares. He seems to be the only one that has a clue as to what is really taking place. At least one Judge in Nevada has a true interest in the people he serves. Thats very unusual. Most of the Judges only interest is to throw poor folks in prison for the rest of their lives to keep the 2nd largest industry in the state going strong.
NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE AT ALL! PRISONS ARE THE NUMBER TWO INDUSTRY IN NEVADA. KEEP THROWING POOR FOLKS IN THERE, THAT ARE BROKE, AND HAVE TO DEPEND ON THE PUBLIC DEFENDERS OFFICE, THAT DEFENDS NO ONE. THEY ALSO THROW OUT A ONE PARAGRAPH APPEAL FOR POOR FOLKS, WITHOUT EVEN CONSULTING THEM FIRST. THATS WHY MORE PRISONS ARE NEEDED. KEEP THE INDUSTRY GOING, AND POOR FOLKS INSIDE ALL OF THE OVERCROWDED CELLS.
When you have public defenders that defend no one you fill up the prisons with poor people that were never defended. At least 25% of the so called violent offenders are innocent also. Get in trouble in Nevada when you are broke and you will go to prison if charged with a felony. I truly believe that the percent of innocent folks in Nevada Prisons is very very high. Prisons in Nevada are a business, and those in power to gain from the business make sure it prospers. WAKE UP NEVADA!
Over half of the dirt poor folks that were installed in the Nevada Corrption Prisons were innocent in the first place. Get a Public Defender and go straight to prison.

HALF OF THE INMATES ARE MENTALLY ILL! IF THEY AREN'T STARTING OUT, THEY WILL BE AFTER A FEW YEARS OF ISOLATION FROM THE REST OF THE WORLD. SAD THING IS NO ONE CARES, AND IT KEEPS ON GOING LIKE A DIE HARD BATTERY. WHEN YOU ONLY GET ONE TO 2 HOURS OF DEFENSE BY A PUBLIC DEFENDER, AND YOU ARE POOR, THEN YOU WILL GO TO PRISON, WHEITHER YOU ARE INNOCENT, OR NOT. IT HAS BECOME A BUSINESS IN NEVADA. CASINOS, PRISONS, AND WAREHOUSES, IN THAT ORDER, ARE THE NUMBER THREE BUSINESSES IN NEVADA.
