I have a daughter starting Kindergarten in the fall. This breaks my heart. We went through the ordeal of Carlos Garcia's threat years ago. I don't know how much more they think the school district can take. Do we ever want more than mediocrity for our children? Small businesses are failing in town. People are being laid off. Private schools aren't even an option for most at $12000+ a year. When we will band together and pony up what it takes for excellence in this town? Raise my taxes or do whatever it takes, Mr. Gibbons. Shame on you.
