This is not just jobs in LV but the entire company. And these 440 jobs are less than 1% of their total workforce. Things could be much worse with recently reported revenue for the markets they are in.

Apparently that's illegal. Check out this excerpt from a wall street journal article:
"Using straight vegetable oil (SVO) to power a car or truck is illegal. Because SVO hasn't been registered with the Environmental Protection Agency as a motor vehicle diesel fuel, its use violates EPA regulations, says EPA press officer Dave Ryan."
