To put it bluntly, Joe Heck is a bum. I'm a registered Republican and believe in a fiscally conservative government but I am SICK AND TIRED of the new Republican dogma of holding middle class America hostage while licking the boots of corporate fatcats who now control the Republican party!
Heck will say it's because of the 2-month extension when in REALITY it's the keystone pipeline that they're trying to ram through the government. I know it, you should know it, Heck obviously knows it, but he's hoping for middle class ignorance and apathy to get him reelected.
It's like a sick game of machismo with these kids. I was driving down Ann Road, and this kid was doing jumping jacks facing oncoming traffic while very SLOWLY crossing the road.
BTW, there was at least 5 kids standing along the side of the road watching the whole thing go down so obviously he was trying to impress his friends to show how "tough" he was.
I don't see the problem. This is how the New World Order works. I'm sure Josh will have an easier time of getting his dad to slide some federal dollars towards Henderson instead of the other candidate.
I'm glad to see that there are some people that actually see the light at the end of the tunnel. All of the doom & gloomers have been jaded by the last few years. It may be difficult to do, but don't let the past affect your future! If there is an opportunity to profit from the carnage then be nimble and go for it.
Have been using the new bins for over a year and I prefer it over the older method. I had misgivings at first with once a week pickup but don't miss it at all. All the complaints I read now were the same ones I saw last year when it was started in our neighborhood.
A big plus is the bins are heavy so they don't get knocked over during windy days. I don't know how many times I came home from work just to dodge trash cans that were blown all over the place.
I also like the fact that you only see trash cans out on the curb once a week. Looks nice (for a trash can anyways) to have some uniformity on the sidewalk.
Love the new map! All that sweet northern groundwater will be heading our way within a couple of years :P
And if anyone up in "northern" Clark county is complaining, then they need to talk to their representative in Reno why they got shafted.
I don't give a rat's @$$ that the growth came from illegal aliens, Area 51 aliens, cowboys, mormons, etc. The growth was in the south so we are due the additional representation.
Nice to see a drop! I usually use the Red Garage behind Hennessey's or park on the side streets next to El Cortez if I'm hanging out east of the Fremont Street experience. Will have to check it out next time.
@SerfAttack, you need to get a grip and chill out! Take some valium next time. I don't see how this article ended up being a tirade with you. I guess the glass is always half empty for people like you.
Whatever. Just jack up the tier rates for water above 6,000 gallons/month. If you want grass (and a pool) in a desert then pay for it.
"makes money in our country and takes it back to his country to feed his people"
Lame if that's the best insult Floyd could think up! Manny's so awful because he's spending his winnings that he made in America to feed and support the poor in his own country????
That's why so many AMERICANS can't stand your obnoxious @$$.
