Lets hope Coolican follows up on this story next week. It would be intetesting to know who Seekatz is married to, who his children are married to and what his position in the church is. Once we know this we will know why he was not fired and why this was hushed up. As to Bateman, next time someone knocks you to the ground and kicks you in the head just go on with your life like nothing happened.. Its never the crime that costs your job, its always the coverup..

Thanks for nothing Mayor Hafen. The only response I wanted to hear from you on behalf of the City of Henderson was "Seekatz has been fired"! If I kicked someone on the ground I would be charged with battery by the police and convicted in court. What's the difference between me and the police?

Clark County Judge Michael Vinani. A record that needs to be examined before the next election.

The one casino no matter how well it is built, managed, policed and promoted will bring others. The city will use the tax revenue for other political pet projects and taxes will not go down. The scum that follows gambling, will bring in political corruption, drugs, hookers and every kind of scam artist you can immagine. Look at Las Vegas, three blocks on either side of the Strip or downtown, you have seedy motels, weekly rentals, povery, poor working stiffs, bums and homeless wandering the streets. Gambling has brought Vegas money, tourists, riches and the top of every bad list ever published. Didn't happen over night but it will happen to your town too. Tell the gamers to keep their money and you keep your nice small community.

Nevada has been my home for over 45 years. When someone asks me where I'am from I say, here. I have traveled to my birthplace only once over the years. Nevada is great place, the state has enjoyed good and bad times. We have always bounced back, this time it will take a litle longer, ignore the nay sayers and hang tough.

So what, who cares! Like all reports completed by outsiders somewhere hidden in this report is the solution. The solution is always more taxes and more government. Just leave us alone and we will work through our own problems.

I walk every day and dodge the cars at parking lot exits and crosswalks, especially vehicles making left turns. Drivers don't care about walkers and neither do the police. As for who pays, I own a car, pay property taxes and expect an environment that allows vehicles and pedestrains.

The county should assemble teams made up of METRO, ICE, IRS Agents, Health Inspectors and Business licensing . These teams should hit the problem areas all at once and cite and/or arrest those who do not have the proper permits or licenses or tax payer IDs.

If this was a legitimate movement the protesters would have been outside the fund raiser President Obama held. The housing, banking and economic collapse were caused by government policies, not the rich. It's not Wall Street, it's Washington and the political parties. This is a union supported movement of socialists who hate wealth, success and the country. Great story, go to the encampment, soclize with others, eat free, get free stuff, wake up, go home shower and go work. Nice gig if you can get it. Want some creditabilty set up your camp on the steps of the Federal Building.

I cry crocodile tears for those in Northern Nevada. The North hates the South because of the business successess of Las Vegas! For years Clark County has paid for most of the state and got little in return thanks to Senator Raggio. Turn about is fair play.
