Are you serious you don't get the point? All of these "stimulus" programs, Cash for Clunkers, TARP and now health plan reform all are smoke and mirrors. The term Voodoo economics definately applies to all. Yes, we may be "stimulating" the economy, but at what price? Your grandkids paying our debt to China 50 years from now?
If this plan looks like the care coming from the VA hospitals - run for the hills. Check out the Sacramento Bee, July 28th, for an article about a young 20 year old airman who lost both legs - not in Iraq - in gallbladder surgery at the VA hospital. They accidently cut his aorta. If he hadn't been rushed to UC Davis, he'd be dead. Any of course he can't sue .... read it and weep for that young man and his family.
If you REALLY think that you will be exempt and get to keep your private insurance plan, I have some lake front property I would like to sell you!
We are developing into an oligarchy, just as John Adams hoped. The top few are reaping the benefits of the "lower working class". When Congress gives up their elite health care and slum it with the rest of us, then I'll sign on for "Obamacare".

We get what we vote for here in Nevada, inepititude!
Ditto the above comments from California. Lottery is not the answer to our school problem
Yes, the kids are the victims. And people wonder why it is so hard to teach children from homes like this in a school setting.

When Shelly and her husband (an M.D.) sign up for this government plan, then I am in! Until then, Congress had better "roll up your sleeves" and really get to work and produce a decent bill.
