Republicans have become that which they used to hate. And they do not notice it, they are so caught up in visceral emotions. Now it's the Democrats who are dignified and principled, and actually want to accomplish something.

Republicans are blasting the White House for not taking action quickly enough on the oil spill. The ones who (say they) want government to stay out of things. The bank bailouts were originated by the Bush administration - with no strings attached, yet they are blaming Obama for the bailouts. How hypocritical.

The arrogance and hypocrisy of the Republicans knows no bounds. The prominent ones ignore their constituents and only want to enrich themselves at the expense of the middle class.

House and senate Democrats are so accustomed to being a minority party that they have forgotten that they are in the majority.

Hey powerplay - Al Gore is irrelevant to Steve's discussion. Your attempt to sidetrack the discussion failed.

"Drivers slowed down to get a glimpse and paid less attention to the road than they did to the truck"

Yet, large bright LED signs that blink and flash their advertisements are okay.

"The commission should take action to ban vehicles like this before someone gets hurt."

Yes, if they also take action to ban other extreme distractions.

Since the distribution of the data is a probable federal crime (HIPAA violation) it would be good if the Sun could follow up and keep the pressure on. Whoever distributed the data to the lawyers probably did not do so as a favor - it was likely sold.

This is not "playing the race card". It is speaking the truth. How about some intellectual honesty among so-called conservatives?
1. If during the Bush administration, a Democratic congressman had shouted, "you lie!" at Bush, he would have been forcibly evicted right then and there.
2. If anyone had shown up with guns, to a Bush rally, they'd have been arrested. People wearing protest T-shirts WERE arrested.
3. Admit that the predominance of rage against Obama is because of race. I see it plainly. Others see it plainly. The so-called conservatives, in denial, do not see it.

Salazar's actions are appropriate. I wonder if the sun ever shines in Future's world under a Democratic administration.

The dishonesty of Mr. Jack's first paragraph renders the remainder of his letter not worth reading. It is well known that the orchestrated intimidation tactics are headed by someone who has been involved in the most massive medicare fraud ever, and paid a fine of more than 1 billion dollars.

You are known by the company you keep, and if Mr. Jack follows that leader, then he must idolize Bernie Madoff as an American hero.

Hey houstonjac, that is not "pushback by the american people". It is oraganized intimidation by a fraudster.
The rallying cry of those who are moneyed by the pharma/sickness industry is: "I've got mine - too bad about you suckers."
