This was a very big story. How about the Nevada media covering it with even 10% of the zeal that you covered Bill Clintons indiscretions? Gibbons claimed to be a family values right wing Mormon. Now, if adultery can be proved, he will be excommunicated from his church. That is big news. Also the fact that Gibbons seems to oppose his churchs stand on alcohol should raise serious questions about his judgement. Remember Larry Craig never campaigned as a dogmatic letter of the law Methodist. Gibbons did claim to be a holier than thou Mormon that would never let the state down. Also the Nevada media needs to ask Mitt Romney why he is standing by Gibbons, while he threw Larry Craig under the bus.
The right wing idiots who wanted the Mormon Church to excommunicate Senator Harry Reid, over his political philosophy, must feel like idiots right now. It is Governor Gibby Gibbons who has embarrassed his church and this state. After nanny gate, contractor gate, cocktail waitress gate, etc. when will the recall be announced to send this turkey into retirement? By the way could Gibby be excommunicated by his Mormon Church for adultery? How about for drinking excessively? I bet Mitt Romney feels like a jackass right about now. He stood by Gibby yet he threw Idaho Senator Larry Craig under the bus. Is Romney standing by old Gibby because he is a fellow Mormon? Did Romney abandon Larry Craig because he was a disposable Methodist?

Gibbons is still very popular on the I-80 corridor between Reno and Wendover. He only needs 40% of Clark County to get reelected. He needs to bank at least 10 million. He should also hire Karl Rove as his campaign manager. Finally he needs to bring Senator Hatch of Utah into his inner circle. Hatch can run interference for him among the Mormons that want him excommunicated if the adultery allegations are proven true.
