if they can't pass those darn proficiency tests, there's always the junior colleges in arizona - accepting all who have the ability to benefit. they will take you and your non-graduating cumulative 2.9 gpa and turn it into an assoc. degree.
why do we continue to provide education to illegal immigrants? an illegal alien will not benefit from a high school diploma.
my daughter is in a vocational program at her high school that had all students provide birth certificates and social security numbers. if the student could not provide this, they were not in the program any longer. this had to do with the license the student would attain as the result of the vocational training and not spending the money on a student that wouldn't ultimately benefit. i like this. couldn't we expand this to all our schools?
sam has to be proud. good for you, steve.

Who wants a 3 lane road? Not me, I live off that 2 lane road now, and I think it is more than adequate. This is a residential area. This road doesn't go out to shopping areas or to places to work. I was rather content when there were no traffic lights east of Boulder Highway...
Unions. Remember them? The people that brought us weekends...

$100,000 ?? Why in the world do people believe that figure? Paperprincess shouldnt believe everything she reads put out by stevewynn. If that were true, this town would be overrun with everybody to get those dealer jobs that pay sooo much.

it's not just dealing jobs that are being sold. what bothers me the most is the full time spots that are sold to the extra board. it happens. it's ugly.
