The caucus actually got live CNN attention where Las Vegas residents could actually talk about the problems here without any editing by the media. In a State where there are so many shift workers, anyone should be able to go to an evening event. More of these should be done or they need to get away from a Saturday vote. Did not see Sheldon - did not see alot of Orthodox either. I did see for once - Las Vegas get a chance unfiltered to speak about candidates and how they can make a difference. With two candidates already in other states, Nevada should be begging for more media attention to keep candidates focused on our issues - which are the core of the issues of the country.

So much for Brian Sandoval making any type of impact. The so called rising star - a guy considered to be a cabinet post by Romney and he says nothing to support his state during this whopping 4 days of coverage? I am not sure given the chance to promote his State's issues why the guy is silent? The State Republicans gave away their position in this process which would have led to millions of dollars and more national exposure of this State's problems for what - choice of a better hotel for those going to the national convention in Tampa? Sorry - but that is messed up. The State needs a week of campaigning and the money spent when it is still recovering instead of watching campaigns split for Minnesota and Colorado during Nevada's week. Internet gaming - Mitt is not for it. Housing - no real solutions, just get America back to work and that will fix it? That is a plan? They better hope Nevada gets a national debate with Obama and who ever comes out of this for the Republicans. This State needs answers to it's problems. Obama still needs to be put front and center for his anti Vegas comments, he cost millions of dollars just by opening up his mouth to this city. He needs to answer for this on a national stage again, as it can never happen again by any future President if they want Nevada to vote for them!

Interesting after Marc's Dad was shown the door as UNLV's long time strength and conditioning Coach, the son gets a ride at UNLV. Considering how Hauck won recruiting battles against Cal Davis for kids, you have to wonder with a team so desperate for talent he can not line up more kids? Beating New Mexico for 2 local kids - a team with a worse record than UNLV - the Rebels should be beyond bragging about keeping two local kids at home. When they get a kid to stay home over going to Hawaii and Utah - then he can talk. He has not developed NFL talent and has shown very little innovation while at UNLV.

We all root for a UNLV turnaround, but Gorman could have beaten UNLV this year.

Credit to Gorman for putting Nevada High School Sports on the map. This should help all of the kids playing high school football in this state be seen by more college programs. Now can UNLV even find Gorman to recruit football players? Nice to see how these games can be shown on ESPN and yet the State Championship Football game could not even get on Las Vegas radio as ESPN 1100 and 920 decided on airing Nevada Wolfpack football instead.

What was with the dead crowd at Cox on Saturday? Sold out building that had more people who were there to show off and rub elbows than to really root for either team? It is about time that the Findlay Prep vs Gorman game be played at a bigger arena. Thomas and Mack or Orleans would be better for a game that has this demand to be seen. The crowd was like going to a UNLV game without a student section - oh yeah that already happens.

Get a bigger facility for the game next year. They knew that everyone wanted to see this game and should have put this into a bigger building. Make it happen next time. A game at Sam Boyd for Gorman Football is next when they are selling out their home games.

Maybe instead of having Gigilos just show Artisan and Rumor as the hotels that they like to conduct "their business" in, they can now take advantage of the old Crowne Plaza Hotel. Anyone who would let a Showtime program that shows sex acts and deals being done in their hotel lobby is crazy or PR insane. I credit him for sticking his neck out there to get these deals done, can he just stop a show that sticks something else out from being filmed from his hotels or does he even know about this?

Will the Culinary send out letters to the White House not to stop and use any Station Casinos or any other non Union hotel in Vegas?

How many times can Obama try to avoid saying how he screwed Vegas over with his comments? He loved Vegas when it voted for him to become President. Then less than 2 years later was throwing Vegas under the bus losing millions for the town.

Solutions for employment - since you cost workers their jobs due to your comments? Solutions on housing crisis - as we are under water, yet still have new homes being built at Red Rock?

Channel 8 news on Monday - lets talk to UNLV kids about what Martin Luther King means to them. Meanwhile 2 Vegas area schools beat down top competition earlier on ESPN. Wonder why our local sports tv coverage is so bad - the UNLV owned station can not even find these games to air highlites and runs a softball piece on UNLV basketball. Really - is it that hard to produce a 3 minute sports segment. Channel 8 could not even find Findlay Prep.

How about a ticket update on sales for Gorman vs Findlay Prep? Shabazz and this Gorman team is unreal for the amount of talent that they have. Findlay is loaded with talent which should make for an unreal game that should be better than the UNLV NEW MEXICO game later that night.

Hey - Chris and Channel 8 - you can tape highlights of the Gorman / Findlay game on ESPN this weekend. How about showing this over more soft pieces on a team who just lost to SDSU who really could use all of these players who will be on the floor at COX on Saturday.

Moving from 178,000 gross square feet of space to the Hard Rock is not a move about growth. They could have grown into more convention space. The Hard Rock is taking it for marketing as much as taking it for having a more liberal location to market their products as they will be buying out the hotel. Totally wrong comment about growth of the show in regards to floor space. It is in a smaller space where it is all about them, which is too bad as the Venetian was awesome for people watching with businesses men having meetings trying to find their rooms and triple taking when seeing half naked women passing by their meeting room.

You have to wonder about how savvy those running high school sports in Nevada really are. No live TV, no live radio, playing at a High School Stadium in Reno for a Championship Game, playing at the same time as University of Nevada's last home football game - a great way to showcase high school sports and these guys appear clueless! No excuse, game should have been played at a vacant Sam Boyd Stadium where there were no competing events. Put it at least at a time, that UNR is not playing so fans can see either game!

Great that I can watch other State's Football Championship games on Direct TV and Nevada can not even get the game on a radio station - brutal. Congrats to Gorman - Nevada has a team nationally ranked finishing in the Top 10 for the Country after this win. Yet they can have games on ESPN2 but when it comes to Nevada they can not even get a drop of live tv for a State Title game. Really minor league!

Once again another Las Vegas athlete leaves town and was never offered by UNLV. Better hope that the Sanford and Robinson methods of getting local talent is not be followed up by Hauck? Wyoming just beat you, not exactly a home state for top high school talent. Nevada has high school talent and it continues to leave to other programs. With the other big talent at DP also having alot of national rides wonder if Hauck made the effort early to extend a ride to him early in the process or did he just wake up to the fact that other schools are wanting these kids? Then we better offer the kid - sorry it is too late now. Have not seen the recruits of Hauck being so much better that grabbing top kids from Vegas is not a priority.
